Can't hear my microphone through my headsets

It this problem happened under windows 7 or windows 8 or windows 8.1 here might be a solution:
Go to your sound properties, select the "recording" tab, then click on your microphone, click "properties". Next, click on the "listen" tab, check "listen to this device", and click ok!
