My Samsung Galaxy S3 won't charge

I've had my S3 for maybe 2 months now, and today it's been having problems charging. It seems like it will only charge when the cord is in a certain position. I've had problems with cords like this before, so I'm wondering, should I replace the charger? I've plugged it into an electrical outlet and my computer and I've had the same problem.

Possible solutions:

Main causes for phone battery charging problems are 

* Excessive charging

* Removing battery without switching off the phone

* Tossing the phones

*Dropping the phones on the floor

etc,

Replace the battery with new genuine samsung battery and try to avoid above mentioned as much as you can.

Samsung Galaxy S3 will not turn on

My S3 is stuck on the initial screen that says Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-19300. It has been like that since I got up. If I press the on/off button nothing happens. If I press it for a long time it the screen goes of for about a second then the same screen appears. I tried taking the a battery out put it back in switched on and the same screen appears. When I connect the phone to my laptop my laptop does not recognize the phone.


Possible solutions:

1. Plug in the charger while it is off for a couple of hours and then try and restart it? If the battery is really, really low, sometimes it won't boot up with it plugged up right away, has to recharge some.
2. The problem with the sudden death is only for the international S3's and the 4.1.2 update has the fix for it. Samsung knows what the problem is now and they WILL replace the phone.

Samsung S3 sudden death

There are beginning to be a lot of threads popping up regarding peoples S3 just suddenly "Dying" Some while charging over night, others simply not turning on again after screen off.
Also it is a lot easier to gather info and find similarities when everything is together.

THE FIX

Samsung have now released a Sudden Death Fix via a patched Kernel and Recovery. XXELLA

You need both the stock recovery and kernel installed for it to work properly, or a custom kernel and recovery built from the updated sources

ie Perseus Kernel V30.1 and PhilZ Recovery V4

Samsung S3, Flashing red border since JB update

"I upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S3 to Jelly Bean this morning and now my phone keeps flashing a red border. I run a photo wall live background and my pictures randomly flash too."

This  is an issue that many of the S3 owners had or have at this moment!
The solution we've found is next:

Go to Settings then Developer options
and here take care to un-check next two things: Strict mode and Show screen updates!!
After all of this restart your phone!
