- Start your computer in Safe Mode as a precaution by pressing the F8 key while your computer is in the process of booting up.
- Once in Safe Mode, click the start button.
- Click on All Programs.
- Click on Windows Update.
- Follow the on screen prompts.
- Restart your computer after update is completed.
